Data deletion & access revocation

The authorized channel owner can withdraw access and request deletion of locally stored YouTube API data at any time.

Effective and last updated: July 24, 2026

1. Revoke Google authorization

Open Google Account third-party connections, sign in with the account that authorized HFI YT Localization, select the relevant connection and remove access.

Revocation prevents the locally stored authorization from being used for future YouTube API requests.

2. Request local data deletion

Email hifiimmersion@gmail.com with the subject “HFI YT Localization data deletion request.” State the authorized Google account and the HiFi Immersion channel ID UCPKxsqJKRHr6bmahwmKmmmg so the request can be verified. Do not send a password, OAuth token or other credential.

3. What will be deleted

A verified request covers locally stored:

  • OAuth access and refresh tokens for the client.
  • API-derived channel, video and caption snapshots.
  • Action plans or operational receipts containing Authorized Data.
  • Other cached API Data associated with the authorization.

4. Timing

Verified direct deletion requests are completed as soon as possible and within seven calendar days. When revocation is detected through Google authorization validation, associated API Data is deleted as soon as possible and no later than 30 calendar days.

5. What deletion does not do

Deleting data stored by HFI YT Localization does not delete videos, captions or account data held by YouTube. To delete data from YouTube, use YouTube or an authorized application that expressly supports that action.

6. Confirmation

HiFi Immersion will confirm completion by email after the verified local deletion process finishes.
